HIGH-STAKES HIABS & MULTILIFTS: MISSION-READY

HIAB 4 Products

We’re all familiar with purpose-built HIAB truck cranes and Multilift truck-mounted hooklifts as the go-to equipment on job sites across the country. We know their powerful performance and reliability in construction, mining, oil fields, agriculture, landscape trades, logistics, forestry, railway and transportation. We know how important they are for sod, precast, waste management, monuments, municipalities and more. They are everywhere we work. What you may not know is the role they play in global defence.

HIAB has been a trusted partner for global military security for more than four decades. Those long-standing efforts are being formalized with a new title. HIAB Defence Logistics (HDL) makes its debut at Eurosatory 2026, the global defence and security exhibition opening in Paris on June 15, with a suite of three specialized truck-mounted equipment innovations, mission-ready for high-stakes operations.

Headlining are the Multilift Talon hooklift. HIAB 1622 ATF-3 crane and HIAB JMIC Top Handler.

The MULTILIFT TALON allows a single operator to quickly load and unload ISO containers and flatracks entirely from the safety of a protected truck cabin. At Eurosatory, it will be mounted on a TATRA FORCE truck. Learn even more about this model on an earlier blog.

Multilift Talon hooklift

The heavy-duty HIAB 1622 ATF-3 truck crane is quick, accurate, compact, combat-proven, and powered for tactical mobility. An exceptionally low profile, long outreach, and uniquely foldable column make it perfect for rail and air transport, and for trucks with roof-mounted weapon stations.

The HIAB JMIC (Joint Modular Intermodal Containers) top handler optimizes logistics for highly standardized 20-foot ISO containers and STANAG flatracks, enabling them to load, unload and handle JMICs. Quicker, safer and more flexible.

Conflict is redefining the world. And HIAB is playing an important role in protecting it.
