The 418’s intelligent HiPRO™ remote control system manages everything with features like XSDrive™, Automatic Speed Control (ASC) and Pump Flow Distribution (PFD). A Vertical Load Stability System (LSS-V) system prevents load swings, protecting you – and everything around you. Safely manage all functions and features from an optimal vantage point, away from the crane. And the X-HiPRO 418’s V200 valve offers superior operational precision, high efficiency, and reduced fuel consumption.

Safety first

Safety comes first—always. HIAB X-HiPRO 418 truck cranes feature Deployment Assistant (BDA). It automatically monitors the HIAB’s boom angle and position during folding and unfolding, preventing operator errors that can damage the equipment, loads, and operator. The Semi-Automatic Folding (SAF) feature lets you fold and unfold your crane worry-free with a single control lever, as sensors continuously monitor the boom’s angle and position. Add to these an external display, a relay box, and LED work lights on the boom. Safety also requires stability. The E3 model features 23-foot fixed outriggers with gas-spring assist and a 2+2 valve. The E-5 model includes a 4+4-valve outrigger system and optional 23-foot outriggers.

Lots of options

Go next level with any of the HIAB X-HiPRO 418’s available options. Increase stability further—up to 180 degrees— with easy-tilt outriggers. Add 5^th and 6^th hose and pipe kits with fixed connections, a large multicoupling to connect those functions simultaneously in one easy operation, or a 12.5-tonne roller-bearing hook. With factory orders, you power up with a Rotzler two-tonne compact winch. It comes with a 10 mm rotation-resistant wire rope, a load-hook-grooved drum and a pressure roller for improved rope wind-up. The winch is fully integrated with HIAB SPACE, providing overload, overwind, and anti-tow-block protection. You can also maximize capacity with a factory-ordered Variable Stability Logic Plus (VSL+) safety package. This unique HIAB feature calculates stability based on the position of the stabilizer legs and the total weight of the truck, load and equipment.
