ARW represents our Atlas Polar family in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Like Atlas Polar, they are a very old Canadian company with a strong customer focus. Founded by A.R. Williams Machinery Ltd. in 1895, it began as a distributor of machine tools and related supplies. In July 1942, the company expanded west to Alberta. ARW merged its truck equipment division with Atlas Polar in 1997, and the two companies have never looked back. It has sales and service head offices in Edmonton and Calgary, and service dealers covering the two provinces.

The ARW team has done a fantastic job of helping make HIAB truck cranes, Moffett forklifts, and Multilift hooklifts the most popular and top-selling brands in the region—and the country. Part of that has been listening to their customers and responding to their needs. When the opportunity arose to be the regional distributor for their Carriers, Quickswap, and Wreckers in Alberta and Saskatchewan, we all knew that partnering with NRC was a great idea.
