With endless pivoting, the X-HiPRO 408 gives you the flexibility to choose the best path for your crane, so you can focus on moving your load instead of your truck. The X-HiPRO 408 also delivers super-fast load cycles, the best possible load access and a significant boost in productivity. The X-HiPRO 408E-8 has eight hydraulic extensions. It has a total 22,046 lb capacity, lifting 2,513 lb at maximum outreach of 68'7".

The HIAB X-HiPRO 408 truck-mounted crane is impressive at every turn, featuring the HiPRO remote control system—the most advanced in the industry—and state-of-the-art HIAB technology. Semi-Automatic Folding (SAF) folds and unfolds the crane quickly and safely with just a few levers, protecting the operator, the equipment and the surroundings. HIAB's Vertical Load Stability System (LSS-V) speeds up and smooths operations, reduces the risk of damage, and minimizes stress on the crane by automatically sensing and compensating for unintentional operator movements.

The X-HiPRO 408's speed, safety and flexibility are further enhanced by unbelievable control. XSDrive remote control provides freedom at your fingertips. Control up to 24 individual functions, many simultaneously, plus up to seven easy-to-reach on/off functions. Boom Deployment Assistant (BDA) monitors the boom's angle and position during folding and unfolding for absolute precision. A high-oil-flow V200 valve and highly tuned hydraulics deliver smooth response and controlled rapid movements. Plus, the HIAB X-HiPRO 408 is loaded with hydraulic brace support, electronic load torque limitation, endlessly adjustable pivoting and articulated boom overstraining. It includes an external display, a relay box, and LED worklights on the boom. It also includes a 4+4 extra valve for optional auxiliary outriggers.

If that isn't enough for you, the X-HiPRO 408 offers almost endless customization options for your articulating crane. 23-foot Easy-Tilt outriggers with gas spring assist tilt 180 degrees for ground clearance and to accommodate equipment. Factory order 5th and 6th function hose and pipe kits, large multicoupling to join 5th and 6th functions simultaneously in one easy operation. Increase your winch load lifting capacity with a hook block. Add a two-tonne Rotzler compact winch, complete with 10 mm rotation-resistant wire rope, load hook, grooved drum and a pressure roller for improved rope wind-up. It's fully integrated with SPACE to provide OLP, over-wind protection and anti-two-block protection. Or make your crane the world's safest by adding a HIAB Variable Stability Limit (VSL+) safety system.
