'CLX' in the HIAB X-CLX 148B-3 truck-mounted crane refers to its robust and reliable CLX manual control system. CLX models feature identical control levers on both sides of the crane and have automatic load-bearing valves for enhanced safety, making it easy to operate with complete control and precision. The X-CLX 148B-3 is a great choice for handling heavy loads or just the rigours of day-to-day use. Its B-Link system—essentially a link-free boom—with three hydraulic extensions easily lifts and loads 4,300 kg (9,490 lb) to 12.9 m (42.3 ft) and accesses tight spaces. It comes equipped with 15 ft hydraulic outriggers, plus either a factory-fitted oil tank or an XS Lite tank mounted on the base of the crane for easy access.

The HIAB X-CLX 148B-3 truck crane is also available with XSDrive Lite proportional remote control, making it even safer, easier and more efficient to operate. Operators can safely control their HIAB from an optimal vantage point using two-way communication.
