The HIAB T-CLX 038 stiff-boom truck-mounted crane is designed for light utility vehicles that handle everyday heavy lifting. It’s optimized for small-to-medium trucks, with powerful in-close lifting, a lower profile, and folds tightly to fit on small pickup trucks. This model and other T-cranes are perfect for urban deliveries and municipal services with limited access. Loads such as large gardening, landscaping, and tree-care equipment, medium-sized machinery, and construction and building materials are nothing for this lightweight crane. Easy heavy lifting for everyday jobs

Like other HIAB T-cranes, the T-CLX 038 models feature a unique, compact folding structure optimized for small- and medium-sized trucks, leaving ample room for payload. In close, the T-CLX 038 is extra-powerful, lifting 2,200 kg at 1.6 m (T-CLX 038-3) and 2,040 kg at 1.7 m (T-CLX 038-4). Capacity ranges from 700 kg at maximum reaches of 4.8 metres / 530 kg at 6 metres. Five-function valves provide critical safety features, like load-holding and pressure relief. They also allow operators to control multiple hydraulic functions like lifting, swinging and outrigger operation at the same time, with a single unit. It all makes for fast, one-person operation.

T-CLX 038 cranes are operator-friendly, smooth and precise, robust and reliable, thanks to their unique HIAB CLX control system. Controls are mirrored on both sides of the crane, so the operator can stand in the best position to view the load and operate from either side. The T-CLX-038-3 and -4 models are also available with optional HIAB XSLite radio remote control, for increased safety, efficiency and comfort. Four levers operate crane functions, and a menu selection allows for two optional outriggers. The factory-ordered XSLite option also includes a PSB Box with an emergency stop button, two batteries, a charger and a 12V converter.

Loads of options to suit your business

HIAB is always thinking about the operator, and the HIAB T-CLX 038 does that. All models offer unique options to help speed up work, increase safety, make deliveries easier, and make your business more profitable.

Add a 12V heavy-duty power pack. It has an enclosed pump, an 8.5-litre tank, a level indicator, and a filler cap for horizontal mounting. Or an 18-litre oil tank with a return filter, oil level indicator, and filler cap with a strainer. Choose your outrigger legs: manual (25-47”), or long or short hydraulic legs. Add a weld-on leg-tilt device for 90-degree ground clearance, or a variety of winches, matched to your crane capacity and mounted under the outer boom.
