The new HIAB iX.258 HiDUO truck-mounted crane delivers top form and great function. Advanced high-tensile steel construction is lightweight with superior strength to maximize payloads. Multiple boom systems and features make it easy to access hard-to-reach places and have the power to get your load to them. Lift more than you'd expect—1580 kg at 12.6 m with the base iX.258 HiDUO model, 1020 kg to 17.2 m with boom extensions on the iX.258 HiDUO E-8 model.

The "iX" in the iX.258 HiDUO truck crane model names (EP-3, EP-5, E-7, and E-8) are new and a clue to its HIAB's advanced intelligence SPACEevo control system. It combines groundbreaking engine control features and an optional variable pump for smoother, faster, more efficient operation and greater productivity.

Standard features that let you go beyond the normal load

All iX.258 HiDUO models have an E-link boom system with an 'X' feature and a P-boom. The E-link inner boom lifts heavy loads close to the column. The X feature lets you access small spaces. The P-boom provides a controlled extension/retraction sequence to reduce total boom weight. A quick touch of the ergonomic XSDrive™ radio remote control lets you handle over 30 different functions—many simultaneously— so you get your job done safer, faster and smarter. iX.258 HiDUO articulating cranes feature a V200 valve, LED work lights on the boom, an external display, and an aluminum oil tank. A couple of cool features are also standard on the iX.258. Boom Deployment Assistant (BDA) monitors angle and position during folding and unfolding to minimize operator error. HIAB SPA makes lifting and moving heavy (and unusual objects—like a luxury spa)—even easier!

Options that make your deliveries even safer and easier

Added options can give your HIAB iX.258 HiDUO even more capability. Protect your loads with a vertical Load Stability System (LSSV) for faster, smoother operation with no sway. Add an X-Feature Override, an outer boom spacer, if you usually transport your crane with the boom outstretched. Easy-tilt 180-degree stabilizer legs ensure you're rock steady, and a Variable Stability Limit system (VSL) monitors leg extension and pressure and automatically adjusts capacity to ensure your HIAB iX.258 HiDUO doesn't exceed its safety limits. Hose and pipe kits, HIAB 4-in-1 Multicoupling and a two-tonne Rotzler winch, complete with 150 feet of 10 mm rotation-resistant wire rope, boom tip roller and load hook, are also available.
