New HIAB iX models, like the iX.228 HiDUO feature highly advanced intelligence in groundbreaking control, thanks to their SPACEevo control system. The system is the culmination of cutting-edge technology that enhances productivity through smoother, faster, and more efficient crane movements, resulting in increased productivity. An advanced sensor system ensures speed never compromises safety. HIAB’s SPACEevo control system also delivers remarkable fuel efficiency with Start/Stop Functionality and Dynamic RPM.

Absolute versatility is the standard

Value-added features, including a V200 valve, XSDrive radio remote control system, 18-foot hydraulic outriggers, Semi-Automatic Folding (SAF), Safety Integrity System (SIS), an external display, relay box, LED worklights on the boom and a factory-fitted base-mounted oil tank make versatility the standard for this articulated crane. They come standard on all HIAB iX.228 HiDUO models (iX.228 B-3, iX.228 B-4, iX.228 E-5 and iX.228 E-6). The advanced V200 hydraulic control valve, with Pump Flow Distribution, optimizes precision no matter what you’re lifting. HiDUO XSDrive remote puts control at your fingertips with 24 proportional functions and up to seven easy on/off functions. It’s simple to operate—even when wearing gloves—and lets you stand right next to the load, saving time and money. The iX.228 HiDUO’s SAS feature monitors angle and position so you can fold and unfold your crane safely and in record time. HIAB SIS monitors and controls your crane’s functions. It activates automatically to bring your crane to a safe position if it senses a safety hazard, such as overloading or instability.

Opt for Easy-Tilt Outrigger Legs. Gas-spring-loaded, they safely and easily tilt to 180 degrees to clear the ground and accommodate equipment. Add fifth and sixth Hose and Pipe kits with quick connects to the boom tip or a Rotzler two-tonne compact winch. It comes with 150 feet of 10 mm rotation-resistant wire rope, a boom tip roller, a load hook, a grooved drum, and a pressure roller to improve spooling. What makes this option extra special is its integration with the iX.228’s SPACEevo system, delivering crane and winch OLP, overwind protection, anti-two-block protection and stabilizer remote control. Do you need faster lifting and lowering with no bounce and greater stability for your loads? Add an LSS-V Load Stability System. All items are factory orders. Multicoupling provides a single-operation, clean, and simple connection of all fifth and sixth functions, and you can add it at any time.
