The new HIAB iX.188 HiDUO truck-mounted cranes (iX.188 E-3, E-5, and E-6 models) operate on an advanced intelligence system, SPACEevo (SPACE evolution). The hydraulic V200 valve improves load stability, while XSDrive makes remote operation fast, safe, and easy.

iX.188 HiDUO knuckleboom cranes deliver bigger payloads. First- and second-boom E-link systems enhance load capacity and ensure constant power across the full extension. High-tensile steel construction is lightweight with superior strength to maximize payloads. Lift 5,600 kg (12,345 lb) to 19.2 m (63 ft) with a manual jib. They make profitability easy with more loads per day and fewer trips to the gas pumps, thanks to fuel- and energy-efficient Start/Stop functionality and Dynamic RPM. Standard features also include 18-foot hydraulic outriggers, an external display and a factory-fitted base-mounted oil tank for easy access.

SAF and SIS take it to the next level

The iX.188 truck crane is job-ready with HIAB Semi-Automatic Folding (SAF) and Safety Instrumented System (SIS)—another powerful combination. SAF folds and unfolds the crane with a single lever while sensors do the hard work, continuously monitoring the crane's angle and position. It's fast, easy, and even an inexperienced operator can safely position the crane in any situation.

SIS automatically monitors and maintains safety settings, protecting the crane, the operator, and the surrounding area. It detects changes in position, load, or motion, analyzes them against predefined limits, and automatically takes action to bring the crane back within safe limits.

Options that make your deliveries even safer and easier

The HIAB iX.188 HiDUO truck crane gets the job done every time, but often, options can do it even better for certain businesses. iX.188 models come with a lot of optional choices. Choose Boom Deployment Assistance (BDA) for added safety and security during folding and unfolding, preventing operator movements that could damage the crane. Opt for a vertical Load Stability System (LSSV) for smooth, fast lifting and lowering without bounce. Manual easy-tilt outriggers with gas spring assist tilt up to 180 degrees when you need more ground clearance or to accommodate equipment. Add fifth- and sixth-function hose reel kits with quick connects, or multicoupling to connect them in one easy operation simultaneously. Add a factory-mounted LED spotlight on the second boom or an eight-outlet factory relay box.
