Your role – Duties + Responsibilities

  • Design proprietary mechanical system installations for HYDRORAKE, HYDROBRUSH and STOPLOG LIFTER systems
  • Prepare detailed mechanical drawings to established drafting standards
  • Specify system components or direct product modification to conform to performance requirements
  • Liaise with Project Coordinator and production staff to solve technical issues related to equipment design, fabrication and installation
  • Collaborate with the project team from concept through completion to the highest standards
  • Liaise with sales staff to clarify and meet project specifications
  • Contribute to the team effort to ensure cost, budget and schedule controls
  • Maintain government standards and regulation compliance

Qualifications – What makes you the right fit

You are a self-starting and proven creative problem-solver with great time management. You have strong analytical, math and written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail and can work independently as well as easily in a team environment.

  • Certificate or Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Design
  • Minimum five years of design experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Recognized design experience in hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems
  • Solid understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes
  • Proven AutoCAD and Inventor software experience
  • Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and ASTM
