Moffett truck-mounted forklifts are popular everywhere and in nearly every industry, from agriculture, horticulture and landscaping to home retail and wind farms. We’re used to seeing them on construction job sites and happily piggybacking on the backs of trucks and trailers. They also stand out doing some unusual things (like dancing) and in some pretty interesting places, but you might not have experienced a lot of country fairs. So recently, when we saw distinctive red Moffetts popping up at the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, Tullamore, Ireland, we couldn’t help but share.

Over two days, nearly 80,000 people — farmers, industry folks, shoppers, celebrities, politicians, and agricultural enthusiasts enjoyed fashion shows, cooking demonstrations, baking competitions, lamb shearing, the latest state-of-the-art machinery and equipment, demonstrations, and the heart of the event, the National Ploughing Championships.

It was a fitting opportunity for Moffett to showcase their truck-mounted forklifts, show off their latest models and innovations, such as the M8 NX2, and continue celebrations of 80 years in business.

Fairs are fun for everyone, and championships are hard to miss. We couldn’t be there, but we’re pretty sure that even amidst 80,000 people and a host of activities, those red Moffett forklifts pulled attention and would be hard to pass by without taking a closer look. And they did.
