The HIAB X-HiPRO 638 has added features that make it big news on three wheels. It’s a powerful, remote-controlled crane compact made of lighter, high-tensile steel to maximize payload and tackle the toughest jobs. The base model X-HiPRO 638-E9 can lift 1580 kg at 22.2 m. The X-HiPRO 638 E-8, with the extended 150X-6 Jib, can lift 360 kg to 32.1 m. The X-HiPRO 638 provides lots of flexibility and maneuverability for in-close or angling out with stability and precision.

The HIAB X-HiPRO 638 articulating crane is made for operator success. The XSDrive radio remote control lets you view your load from the best possible position. The X-HiPRO 638E-6 with jib has an eight-function CombiDrive radio remote control and includes two extra hydraulic functions to the jib tip.

With the X-HiPRO 638 (and all HIAB truck cranes), performance and safety go hand in hand. This crane operates on HIAB’s powerful SPACE 5000 intelligence system, featuring Boom Deployment Assistance (BDA), which monitors the angle and position of your HIAB during folding and unfolding and prevents any movement that might damage the crane. Its LSSV stability system automatically senses unintentional lever movement and counteracts it, minimizing the need for operator correction. 360-degree continuous slewing and a uniquely powerful V200 valve ensure high oil flow and quick regeneration for faster speeds, greater accuracy, precise control and fuel savings. Easy-tilt auxiliary legs integrate into the hydraulic and electronic systems for critical support and control. It also includes an extra 4+4 valve for auxiliary outriggers (optional on basic X-HiPRO 638E-8 and X-HiPROE-9 models). An external display and LED work lights on the boom, outriggers and jib make every job easier.

Fast, easy setup, loading and unloading

Semi-Automatic Folding (SAF) sensors accurately monitor the crane’s angle and position when folding and unfolding.

The X-HiPRO 638 base design minimizes installation and delivery times. A new 200 L base-mounted aluminum oil tank improves access, installation and maintenance time. A new nine-metre chain-driven stabilizer span cuts the time it takes to extend and retract the stabilizers by nearly half. Auxiliary, easy-tilt stabilizer legs support heavier loads and make setup easier. A host of new features make every delivery faster, simpler, safer, more flexible, and more precise.
