Hensel Ready Mix is based in Ohio, with four locations supplying ready mix to customers. It is a family-owned company that has been in business since 1963. Founded by Clarence Hensel, it is now operated by his son Rodney, company president. The third generation entered the business when Ben Hensel assumed the role of general manager.

In addition to supplying ready mix concrete with its fleet of trucks, the company also has a portable ready mix plant available for on-site work.

In their promotional materials, Hensel Ready Mix makes note of the many benefits of the Front Discharge Mixveyor: lower cost, versatility, flexibility, and easier access to hard-to-reach areas. Back in February we talked about the upcoming open house at Shumaker Industries, an Atlas Polar dealer in Pennsylvania. We knew that their decision to feature the Front Discharge Mixveyor would get attention, but we were thrilled to hear how much demand there was to see this product.

It turns out that local ready-mix producers couldn’t wait to see the new Mixveyor. When they heard that Shumaker Industries was installing the nation’s first Front Discharge Mixveyor, they began asking for a demo. So Shumaker decided to hold an open house.

The open house was held February 25 and 26, 2010. As the staff at Shumaker can tell you, the weather did not work in their favour. Despite the snow, local producers turned out in great numbers so they could see what the staff at Shumaker referred to as “the most innovative development in concrete placement since the front-discharge mixer.”

At the open house, guests were able to see the Front Discharge Mixveyor up close. Seeing it in action showed them how the conveyor would fit into their businesses.

The Mixveyor really got everyone talking and no wonder. It offers a unique set of features that cannot be found elsewhere, including: greater visibility and manoeuvrability; longer life from better cleaning and storage options; and standard Polar Remote Controls to make operation easier.

Customers of Shumaker Industries in Northumberland, PA are invited to attend a very special open house on February 25 and 26 from noon until 6 PM.

The open house will introduce customers to the new Atlas Polar Front Discharge Mixveyor—currently the only front mounting system available for pouring concrete. This versatile piece of equipment allows for quick, efficient and safe pouring of ready mix.

Our front mounting ready mix conveyor offers an extended reach and allows operators to pour concrete in a 220º radius around the truck.
